Green washes unevenly into white as the reactive glaze responds to heat during firing, so the exact pattern on this cup won't turn up identically on the next. Full vitrification runs through the body, meaning the microwave is never a concern and the cup can handle a steady run of café orders without losing its finish. The printed logo needs a lighter touch than the cup itself, since dishwasher heat wears pad print down, so hand washing is what keeps branding sharp.
Reactive Glaze Variance. The glaze on each Salvetti Porcelain Cup reacts individually during firing, so colour hue, patina pattern and finish will vary slightly from cup to cup. This is a natural feature of the production process, not a defect, and gives every piece its own one-off character.
